Booked in L.A.

How much of a nerd am I? This much. I don’t fly into LAX for the Left Coast Crime event until early Thursday, which means I’ll miss the Forensic Science Day on Wednesday. It includes a tour of the Hertzberg-Davis Forensic Science Center, a crime laboratory serving LAPD and LA County Sherriff’s Department. That would be coolness itself.

The convention takes place at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, within walking distance of the Los Angeles Public Library, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. Registration information can be found at by clicking here or by sending an e-mail to leftcoast2010@gmail.com.
