Mysteries of Manhattan

First full day in Manhattan. I have hit two of the Barnes & Noble stores so far and offered to sign copies of “Crashers.” Managers have been very gracious. Alas, the shop in Tribeca only had two copies of my book since they’d already been selling so well.

How’s this for luck? Katy and I hit the only cabbie in all of New York who couldn’t find that particular Barnes & Noble. He let us out a few blocks away and guessed which direction it would be. We started out… and ran into The Mysterious Bookshop, one of the nation’s most famed murder mystery shops. They didn’t have “Crashers,” but would by Friday and invited us to a cocktail party in honor of Thrillerfest, the event we’re here for.

It’s good to be good but better to be lucky.

  1. Dana, thanks for your nice comments on my blog again. Hope your book is selling like hotcakes! Wish I had known you were doing signings in NYC, I’d have brought in the new HC of Crashers to have you sign it. Warm regards, Lynn
