Let’s hear it for libraries!

OK, this is good news. Unless you’re in a hurry to read my book.

Multnomah County Library has 23 copies of “Crashers” but all 23 are out and there are 100 “holds” on the book.

And library patrons, lord love ’em, seem to be happy with the book. It gets a rating of four out of five stars.

Shorter wait in Marion County, where I worked for eight years at the Statesman Journal: 18 holds on 14 copies, all of which are out. I’m doing a gig there Sept. 23, by the way.

Thanks folks! Be patient. It’s heading your way.
