The bad guy
Had a great time last week at Lincoln City’s Driftwood Library. Thanks to everyone who made this appearance happen, including the members of the Library Foundation.
I’m home for a couple of weeks now, which is good, since I’m trying to get some traction on the third book in the Crashers series. I did my big Read-Through for the first 130 pages: found the problems in the story arcs, the missed reveals, the story-telling culs-de-sac that aren’t actually going anywhere. But the most important thing I did was to write out the whole story from the bad guy’s point of view. Now that I know his story, it makes the process of telling the heroine’s story so much clearer.
