W.U. hoo!

Lovely event yesterday at Willamette University in Salem. A bunch of Oregon and Washington authors were brought together in the Commons, near the bookstore.  They sold a ton of my books.

We talk a good game about diversity at Portland Community College, but at one point, I was seated between a guy who’d translated the letters from St. Paul from the original Greek to English, on my left, and a guy who wrote haikus for – among other things – dogs, on my right.

How’s that for diversity?

We also had a guy from The Oregonian who’d written a book of anecdotes from 40 years of covering the Trail Blazers. Trust me: He got the most foot traffic.
