Murder By The Book rocks so hard!

Lovely event last night on a perfectly dreadful evening. Murder By The Book hosted as the skies opened and the rain smashed into Portland. We drew a larger crowd than I would have anticipated, given the horrendous weather.

Thank you to Murder By The Book for being so wonderfully supportive of Northwest writers! http://www.mbtb.com

Next up: Come help us celebrate the release of BREAKING POINT at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, Powell’s at Cedar Hills Crossing, 3415 S.W. Cedar Hills Blvd. in Beaverton.

The reviews have been great! Booklist gives BREAKING POINT a starred review:  “Haynes delivers another nonstop thriller … A top-notch, tension-packed technothriller.”

Bookreporter.com said, “There is mystery, action, suspense, death and romance from beginning to end, and the last 60 or so pages are strictly jaw-dropping. The result is something that you’ll take with you long after you read the last page.”

And this week we received a starred billing from Kirkus Reviews: “This is a thriller that lands a rare and satisfying hat trick: The action sequences hit hard, the characters are idiosyncratic while still feeling like real people, and the ‘snappy’ dialogue actually snaps.”

See you there?
