An ‘Affair’ to Remember
Funny conversation with Katy King … well, most of them are pretty funny. Nobody makes me laugh like she can.
We both finished Lee Child’s “The Affair” (a very good back story for his protagonist, Jack Reacher). Katy and I are at the Oregon Coast, getting some dinner in a restaurant.
Just as a waiter is approaching the table with a water pitcher, Katy smiles brightly and says, “Well, I certainly enjoyed ‘The Affair.’”
This poor waiter screeches to a halt, spins and hustles away from our table.
I have rarely laughed so hard in public.
