Screen Writing (and Wiring)

OK, this is interesting.

I wrote “ICE COLD KILL” as a novel and went through … oh, scores of drafts.

Now I’m working on the screenplay and I’m finding all new aspects of the story. The media are just wired differently.

Not the least: Rhymes in dialogue.

“…fall of the Berlin Wall…” is fine in a novel. But it rhymes.

“…the Berlin Wall falling…” is a better line.

Different media, different problems.
