Willamette Writers! Sweet!
Very excited to head back to my favorite stomping grounds on Tuesday, to speak to Willamette Writers.
This group has been helping writers and fans of writing forever! If you have an interest in the written word, you owe it to yourself to learn more about Willamette Writers.
I’ll be speaking at 6:30 p,m.at The Old Church, 1422 S.W. 11th Ave., Portland. Which, not for nothing, is a really cool building on the Historic Registry and worth visiting, even if I wasn’t there being all pontifical and such.
The topics will include my current novel, ICE COLD KILL, and the upcoming 2014 thriller, GUN METAL HEART. I also will be talking about how writers can get to “The End” — those all-important and sometimes hard-to-find words. “Traction” is the secret ingredient in writing a first draft, and I’ll share some tips.
You gotta come hear this. I swear, I’ll be less dull than anticipated. I’ll even swear occasionally. Cynthia Whitcomb does it all the time. C’mon. You know you want to.
